Annegret Soltau's solo exhibition « Uncensored », will be opening at Städel Mueseum, Frankfurt, Germany.

The Städel Museum is dedicating the first ever retrospective to her, which was developed together with the artist. With over 80 works, the exhibition provides a comprehensive insight into her multifaceted oeuvre: from drawings to extended photography and video to installations. Feminism, body politics and the challenge of human and female identity are central themes in Soltau's work. To this end, she develops her own, innovative techniques that go beyond the boundaries of photography - photo over-stitching and photo-sewing as well as photo etching.
